Thanks for visiting Country What Not Gardens, the place to find the rare and unusual! You will find many unusual plants here. Like the various bamboo adorning our site. Most of the bamboo graphics (see more in our stock photos selection) are actual scannings and pictures of our cold hardy bamboo at our nursery or in our garden.
Other plants we have are herbs, bonsai, field dug pre-bonsai, aquatic plants for your water or bog garden, and ornamental grasses. Much more is available by special request.
We search continuously to bring our customers the very best that the botanical world has to offer. Some plants are unusual in their own right and others may be unusual cultivars or selections of more common plants.

Shipping Methods
Priority Mail unless order does not meet Priority specifications or otherwise specified by customer. If necessary to deliver by an express delivery service additional shipping charges will be required. We always ship on Mondays or Tuesdays to be sure the plants get to their destination before haveing to lay over for the weekend.
Shipping Containers
We will ship plant in a suitable container that best suits that plants needs.
Shipping Season
Due to our climate our shipping season is limited. We will not endanger plants by shipping when temperatures do not permit.
Problems & Complaints
We try not to make errors, but occasionally they may occur. We must be notified within 24 hours of all problems of receipt of order. Remember plants do not always look their best after shipment. They may need time for adjustment after their trip. We are not responsible for loss of the plant due to stress in shipping. We do not replace plants that have failed do to conditions beyond our control such as extreme heat or cold, possible neglect, or lack of experience on the part of the gardener. We are not responsible for loss or damage to plants in transit. Claims of such will have to be filed with the transportation company. Plants are your property upon delivery to the transportation company.

Shipping & Handling Charges
Order total $0.01 - $25.00 shipping $15.00.
Order total $25.01 and up is 35% shipping + $6.25 handling charge.

Find the item you wish to order, write down the item number including the letter in fromt of the item number (example G-0001), name, size, and the listed price. E-mail us with the complete list, your full name and address. We will e-mail you back with a confirmation. Once you have a confirmed total you may either mail us your payment or use your credit card to pay through PayPal. Country What Not Gardens is a subsidiary of The Country What Not Shop.

Problems e-mailing us?
Please know that if your messages arrive, we reply. However, we are inundated with error messages such as, "This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason: The user(s) account is temporarily over quota." (too many messages filling up the inbox!)
Spam filters are another problem. Please note that if your e-mail account has a spam filter that only accepts e-mail from approved e-mail address we will not be able to reach you unless you approve our address.
After replying to some requests, we get notifications reading along the lines of, "You recently emailed ***@url.com but you're not on the recipient's 'Allow List.' In an effort to combat SPAM, we maintain a list of email addresses that are allowed to email ***@url.com. To add your email address to the 'Allow List,' please follow the link below and take a quick test that will verify you are a human. Once you've done this, your previous message(s) will be allowed to reach ***@url.com as well as all future messages from your acount."
We do not have time to follow links to take "quick tests". If you have such a spam filter, please approve our address before writing us.
It's very frustrating to spend time typing up a, sometimes lengthy, reply only to have it undeliverable.
We try to reply within 24 to 48 hours of your request, but it's your job to let our replies through to you!
