Chinese long tail games, AKA china game fowl. I got mine from Herman Pinon of Misouri. They are a beautiful bird of duckwing colors with nice long tails and pea or walnut combs, and yellow legs.
You must have patience when it comes to these. mean mean mean!. Fight at the drop of a hat. These came over in the early 1930's. Mr Herman had Chinese immigrates working for him on his 1,000 acre farm. Most worked with the rail roads, and wanted a change. He got his birds from his workers.
Some were line breed pure. Others were integrated into his other game fowl. I bought mine for a hefty price. But did not realize what was involved with these birds. I still have a few, but after 6-7 years I still can't breed out the gameness. I guess what took 100's of years , may take a while to get it out. -
